Tokyo Princess Party

I had to go to class but I felt like partying! So, to fill that void I decided to just dress like I was going to a party and still go to class. Its a party of flowers, ruffles, hearts, and oversize pearls to add a bit of playful glamour.

Watermelon WOW

When I spotted this skirt at Goodwill, I couldn't believe it! A skirt that looked like a giant watermelon, how fabulous! It even came with a matching kerchief, if you wanted your head to be engulfed in full watermelon glory as well. The skirt is definitely vintage, probably 50s and is from a brand based out of Honolulu.

I wonder who had this piece before me and where they wore it?

Liquid Velvet, HEAD of the class

I've had this halter in my closet for about 5 years and have never worn it! Now, I can't stand to take it off. So trashy yet a little bit glam.

Punky Brewster

Somedays I wake up and just wanna throw on a plaid skirt, docs, and tee and be done with it! I can't help my residual TEENAGE ANGST.
I also can't help but think this obscene portrayal of Michelangelo's Creation of Man is a bloody masterpiece.
Gotta love street art in Montmartre!

Brutally hot weather calls for minimal clothing but I still wanted to look chic and feel a bit dressed up for my lazy LA day.

Its places like this sign/prop store on La Brea that make LA feel so eerie and fake but also amazing at the same time.

Chic Beast

I recently re-discovered this chic and quirky YSL Encore pencil skirt.  After doing a bit of research it seems like Encore was a diffusion line from 1993-2002. The pieces were less expensive but this skirt is tailored beautifully, fits like a dream, and feels gorgeous. I found it at Goodwill about a year ago and had never worn it! The side is open besides it being laced up, the material reminiscent of a shoe lace, which gives it a pseudo-athletic feel.

This is about as sporty as I get.
